Syncr's own profile concept
Your Energy Signal, Explained
Your Energy Signal captures what makes you uniquely you. On Syncr Dating, a dating app for adults across India, it is a way to express your rhythm and preferences alongside personality and interests—not a substitute for getting to know someone.
An expressive introduction, not a label
Energy Signal is a product concept created for Syncr. It gives your reflections a shared language that can support an introduction or a conversation. It is not a complete account of your personality, and it does not decide who you are allowed to connect with.
Two people can give different answers and still enjoy talking. Two people can give similar answers and want different things from dating. Treat a signal as context for curiosity, not a ranking of people or a verdict about a possible relationship.
Reflect on what feels like you
During profile setup, answer the reflections in a way that feels honest rather than trying to produce a particular impression. You can take your time and think about the preferences you want to describe. There is no best kind of energy to have.
Your interests and profile text can add context that short answers cannot. A hobby, the way you spend a free day or a thought about communication can help someone ask a more specific, genuine question.
Move from signals to conversation
When you discover a shared profile, use what the person has chosen to express as a starting point. Ask about the meaning behind an answer, share something about yourself and notice whether the exchange feels comfortable for both of you.
The aim is to see whether the two signals truly sync through real interaction—not to rely on a guaranteed prediction. Compatibility, interests, chemistry, communication and expectations all remain part of getting to know someone.
- Ask about an interest rather than assuming you already understand it.
- Talk openly about what each of you wants from dating.
- Respect different reply rhythms and the right to stop a conversation.
What the signal cannot tell you
Energy Signal is not a scientifically validated compatibility measure, psychological diagnosis, identity verification or safety assessment. It cannot establish whether another person is trustworthy or promise that a connection will lead to a relationship.
Keep ordinary online dating precautions separate from profile interpretation. Do not send money, passwords or verification codes to a match. If you plan a first meeting, choose a public venue and a journey you can manage independently.
Sharing is a separate choice
Completing reflections does not publish your profile. Photos are shared only after you explicitly opt in, and an eligible profile is published when you choose Finish profile. A pending private moderator review does not make the profile public.
Local photo comparison is separate from Energy Signal. A local match can unlock sharing without uploading the capture. A mismatch can use that same capture for private moderator review only with separate consent. Neither the signal nor the photo check guarantees identity, compatibility or safety.
